Stenberg makes push in fly-around

Republican U.S. Senate candidate Don Stenberg visited 7 Nebraska communities Wednesday, and will conclude his statewide fly-around today with a visit to Hastings at 4 pm at the municipal airport. Stenberg’s message in the last week of the campaign for the GOP nomination centers on his lifelong conservative record and willingness to stand up to both Republican and Democrats leaders in Washington. The most likely opponent for whoever comes out of this race on the Republican side of things will be Bob Kerry. Kerry has pitched all along his ability to end the political gridlock and work on the important issues facing our country with both the Republicans and democrats, but Stenberg says Kerry’s record is a different story.
